Rainbow Labour

Welcome to Rainbow Labour, a sector group within the New Zealand Labour Party setup to support and promote the issues facing gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in New Zealand society.

Labour has achieved much for the rainbow people in New Zealand, from the passing of the Homosexual Law Reform Bill in 1986 to the Civil Union Bill in 2005. We now live in a far more diverse and tolerant society than we did just 20 years ago.
